Gluten must be declared on food labels in United Kingdom as a regulated allergen. This includes the allergen itself and any derivatives. The UK retained Regulation 1169/2011, so the same 14 Annex II allergens and in-list emphasis rules apply. In addition, Natasha's Law (October 2021) extended full ingredient and allergen labeling to food prepacked for direct sale (PPDS).
