What the Rule Is

Every food label in European Union must include the name and address of the food business operator responsible for the product information. Article 9(1)(h) of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 requires the name or business name and address of the food business operator responsible for the food information; if that operator is not established in the EU, the EU importer's address must appear.
